Sometimes I find myself thinking how everything started… It isn’t easy to determine exactly that moment.

I always loved animals very much specially dogs. My parents never knew if one day when they arrived at home they would find another member to join our family, as time went by and my taste for dogs was the same.

It was on Sunday in 1984 I had a big surprise… When I arrived at my grandparents’ house there was Ezo de la Vallée d’Oulja an adult brindle boxer. He was offered to my father. I felt mixed feelings; I was happy and afraid at the same time. It is hard to say how I felt. Although, at the first moment we became big Friends!
I was proud of Ezo, he was an excellent dog!
Unfortunately destiny didn’t want Ezo or Zuzu, as I called him, to end his days in my house.

After Ezo and to minimize my pain because o his loss, my sister, my aunt and I saved money and in July in 1986 we bought another dog, a Dalmatian, Zico. He lived with us till his fourteen years old.

Who has or had got a boxer, he/she can’t find a substitute race.

Boxers are my favourite race!

Some years later, when I had my house and a professional stability I bought, in join in 1998, Rusca, she is a fawn boxer to keep my company… One day I decided to take my Rusca an exhibition so we went to Aveiro. When I arrived there I realized Rusca is so different from the other boxers.
I started to examine and to understand the standard of boxers and I concluded that my Rusca wasn’t at the same level as the boxers-show. However, she is a very good friend. She is a really “Lady”.

I felt something was missing… I felt a strong desire to have another boxer; although it couldn’t be a normal one, it had to be a boxer from a special line. It appeared in my way publicity about Alfeu’s boxers, which had the photos of their reproducers (Jawa Royal de Avalon, Shauny de Alfeu, Halley de Alfeu e Goya de Alfeu). I thought a lot about that publicity and I told, many times, to my husband “I’d like to have a boxer like that female-boxer” I was talking about Goya.
In May in 1999 we went Mr. Cantidio’s home and there were Goya de Alfeu with David del Colle dell’Infinito sons.
It was a difficult choice and with a lot of reflection. After a week we went back there and brought JUMA DE ALFEU. We promised we would be punctual in dogs-show.
